Oh. My. Goodness. It's an update. What? Can it be? Yes... I'm afraid so.

Well, I pretty much missed it... I mean I checked it every day but I never got a chance to update my site to promote it and now it's over. The wonderful Decemberlady hosted the 2006 XF Christmas Advent Calendar and it was a smashing success and so beautiful. She hasn't taken it down so hop on over to take a peek. Despite my lack of promotion and my late submission, DL was kind enough to allow me to share the last day with her. *blush* You're the best, DL. :)

The holiday artwork that I created for the calendar is here. It's nothing overly special... When it was done, I liked it much more than I do now. Meh. Anyway, it was semi-inspired by a movie poster that I saw and loved but I can't remember which one now. :( This is why I need to update more. Brushes are from me, Vered, and Thia. Thank you to DL for featuring it on the calendar and for hosting the wonderful tradition yet again. :)

One of the most amazing - yet thoroughly depressing - movies I've ever seen was Children of Men with the totally hot Clive Owen as star. This movie made my top ten of 06 list and I had considered making artwork for all 10 but never got around to it. I did this tho! Other top ten movies were The Departed, The Prestige and Borat. 2006 was a good movie year... Big thanks to Vered for the brushes and Heckyes05 for the background. Pics from Into The Blue.

Ahhh. Robert Patrick. Yummy. I haven't fanart-ed him in a while. His eyes. Sigh. There are some fan-freakin'-tastic pics of him out there. These are really amazing and this one of my favourite pieces that I've done... ever. Credit to Rain Harbour and me for the brushes. I can't recall where the coffee stain brush came from... Sorry! I opened a LiveJournal account that is currently being used strictly as an icon journal. It's called No Miracle, No Dazzle (which is the name of a song/album from my favourite band, Blue Rodeo. I've updated several times with many icons and they are all on my newish icons page. You'll find lots of GA, DD and RP icons, episodic icons for The Pilot, Deep Throat, Squeeze, Conduit and Jersey Devil as well as some OT icons for Lost, Firefly and Alias.
